19 February 2007It was a rough first road stage at the Tour of California today. Several crashes marred an otherwise pristine day under the sun.
Dave Zabriske was taken to the hospital following his crash, and despite a huge pile-up during the finishing circuits which saw Levi Leipheimer go down, he still retained the leader’s jersey.
