2007 Tour de France Data
5 July 2007
We are excited to announce that we will be broadcasting live feeds from the Tour de France that will feature selected riders’ data each day. You will be able to track their GPS position on a map and see speed, power, heart rate and distance all live!
Check this link for live data: http://www.trainingpeaks.com/2007tourdata.asp
Thanks to the team at SRM, we will also be featuring complete data files from selected riders throughout the Tour. You will be able to review their ride during the stage and see just how hard they really are. Compare a Tour stage to your training ride TSS and you’ll know what it really feels like, even for the pros!
Stay tuned for more information as we are able to get it from France, we’ll be updating the blog and the microsites with the information as it comes in. Take a look at the 2006 Tour de France data that we posted last year in the meantime.

Maybe it’s me…Maybe it’s my Mac… but the real-time data is not displaying. On the map, the only thing that shows up is the T-Mobile team car. JDK version is 1.5_07 on OS-X 10.4.10. Browser is Firefox 2.0.0.4. Very cool concept. This was a great idea.

The real time data is at times spotty, but I was able to get it working on my OS-X Intel Mac. You should see a list of about 7 or so riders each day.
