Position 1: C# .NET Web Developer
Peaksware, LLC has an immediate opening in our Lafayette, CO office for a C# .NET Web Developer. We offer a small, relaxed environment in which to work on some great projects with other talented people for our industry pioneering applications. Benefits include flexible hours, working at home, vacation/sick time, health, and dental insurance.
Our main products include TrainingPeaks.com, WKO+ (desktop software) and FitnessPeaks.com. Our desktop and web-based software are industry leading platforms enabling people around the world to monitor, analyze and plan their fitness and training information. At Peaksware, we strive to develop software systems to help motivated individuals and professionals achieve health, fitness and peak performance.
The successful candidate will need a strong passion and thirst to keep up with new industry trends and standards and an ability to learn new things and grow in architectural design and coding capabilities. You must be comfortable with the dual role of maintaining a classic ASP code base, while working on replacement and interoperable ASP.NET technologies.
Requirements:
- Strong exposure to object oriented design and development is necessary (C#/Java)
- Experience using Visual Studio 2005 for ASP.NET/C#
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional accomplishment
- Good understanding of Javascript, HTML and CSS
- Strong interest and/or experience in WEB 2.0 type technologies is important.
- Experience with third party or community based .NET frameworks like log4net, nunit, nhibernate is a plus.
- Interest in working in a Test Driven/Agile Development Environment
- Good understanding of database fundamentals, SQL Server experience is a plus
- Experience with version control systems such as VSS or SVN is a must
- Familiarity with concepts such as session persistence, URL rewriting, .ascx component design, third party component libraries like telerik, xceed is a big plus.
Position 2: UI Software Developer
Peaksware, LLC has an immediate opening in our Lafayette, CO office for a UI Software Developer. If usability, layout and design are what get you excited and motivated, we need to hear from you. We offer a small, relaxed environment in which to work on some great projects with other talented people for our industry pioneering applications. Benefits include flexible hours, working at home, vacation/sick time, health, and dental insurance.
Our main products include TrainingPeaks.com, WKO+ (desktop software) and FitnessPeaks.com. Our desktop and web-based software are industry leading platforms enabling people around the world to monitor, analyze and plan their fitness and training information. The successful candidate will need a strong foundation in visual/interface design and UI design including Rapid Prototyping using Adobe Creative Suite tools or similar. Your ability to work with other developers and graphic designers in a team environment is crucial.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional accomplishment
- Strong knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, xHTML, CSS, XML
- Experience in WEB 2.0 technologies
- Object Oriented JavaScript/AJAX
- Flex/Flash/ActionScript is a significant plus
- Proven track record in cross platform cross browser development
- Strong understanding of web services and XML a plus
- Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the full product lifecycle.
- Interest in working in a Test Driven/Agile Development Environment
- Experience in client-side debugging, profiling, and optimization
