File Viewer Maps Now Powered By Mapquest
6 January 2008File Viewer is now up to 10 times faster! We’ve just launched an upgraded mapping engine that uses Mapquest to render all the underlying maps. For the thousands of you uploading GPS files with your Garmin, you’ll really appreciate the speed of the map rendering. Also, you can now seamlessly drag and resize the graph and the map as needed.
Click the image above to see the actual interactive file viewer and see how fast it is. Remember, as a subscriber, you can share any of your workouts with friends using the “Share workout” link in the “Options” dropdown box located in the upper right corner of the File Viewer window.
The new maps display much faster, drastically improving the whole experience with uploading your data. With over 600,000 files uploaded last year alone, and thousands of files uploaded every day, we’re doing everything we can to help improve the usability of TrainingPeaks.
Just as a reminder, we have 3 ways you can upload your device files to TrainingPeaks.com
- Use the Daily Log to upload files saved from the device’s original software
- Use the free companion desktop application Device Agent (direct download and 1-click send)
- Use WKO+, our powerful desktop analysis tool (direct download and 1-click send)
