USAC Collegiate Benefits with Training Peaks Announced

Colorado Springs, Colo. (February 22, 2008)—USA Cycling has announced new collegiate benefits from TrainingPeaks.

All registered USA Cycling collegiate teams are now eligible for a free team account, allowing them to manage all training programs and training data, for free, leading into the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships in May of 2008.

Cadel Evans First Victory of the Year

It looks like Cadel Evans and his Silence-Lotto teammates have been training with a purpose over the off-season. Evans won the second stage of the Vuelta a Andalucia-Ruta Del Sol and as a bonus had a very strong showing by his teammates Mario Aerts (7th) , Johan Van Summeren (14th), and Dario Cioni (17th) .
