Judith Arndt of Team High Road Shares Some Recent Training Files

11 February 2008

Team High Road professional Judith Arndt has been kind enough to supply us with two recent training files which were conducted on the island of Mallorca, Spain. In her own words this is how Judith describes the training objectives and her goals for the year.

The first one (January 18th) is a slow group ride through the mountains (endurance training). I had to correct the heart rate of the first 15 min of the ride, since there were some disturbances. The second file (January 20th) is a long flat ride. There were only 2 of us and I had a coffee break after 3.45hrs, where I ate too much and suffered for more than an hour afterwards. So these files are not really anything spectacular, just normal endurance training.”

“My focus is still on basic endurance training, since I will have to rely upon that for the whole season. My first important race will be the World Cup in Geelong, Australia at the end of February. My main goal for 2008 is the Olympics and later on World Championships.”

Judith is currently training in California with the men’s team prior to her trip to Australia for the Geelong World Cup.
