Exciting Times for TrainingPeaks!
31 October 2008
This fall has been a whirlwind of activity for TrainingPeaks! In addition to launching our new web site and continuing to add features to our new 3.0 beta version of the software, the TrainingPeaks team attended several important events in September and October. Starting with the USAT Coaching Symposium in Portland, Oregon, where CEO Donavon Guyot presented and TrainingPeaks was the supporting sponsor offering demos of the new 3.0 beta version of the software for triathlon coaches, the team then made an appearance at the USAC Conference at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, where Chief Operating Officer Gear Fisher presented and the team continued to demo the new software for cycling coaches.
From there, we flew up to Chicago for Club Industry 2008, an enormous gathering of health clubs, personal trainers, and fitness product manufacturers, where TrainingPeaks appeared for the first time ever in front of the general fitness crowd to demo the new structured workout feature of the software, including videos. After a quick crossing into Canada to attend the Dynastream conference outside Calgary, where Donavon and Gear presented on how the ultra low power transmission technology known as ANT+ wireless works with TrainingPeaks 3.0, we were in Memphis for the JuicePlus+ conference, offering demos of the software that will be used to support the Juice Plus+ Fitness Challenge. Finally, we finished up in New York for the Timex product launch event, held just before the New York City Marathon, to launch the software platform that will be supporting the new Timex Race Trainer watch.
The TrainingPeaks team is very excited about all of these opportunities to strengthen connections with so many great partners in the fitness world. Moving forward for the rest of this year and on into the next, we are confident that we will continue to grow and expand our cooperative efforts to bring the world’s best online fitness and training log to more motivated people than ever before.
Next up for TrainingPeaks: on Tuesday, November 4th we will be presenting at the Boulder Denver New Technology Meetup at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Denver, Colorado.
