2008 Year in Review
31 December 2008
TrainingPeaks has had a great year, and we would like to extend our biggest thanks to YOU, our loyal and growing members, from weekend warriors and age groupers to professionals and elite athletes.
During this year of tremendous growth, not only has our team worked tirelessly to create a new and improved online user interface, but also the company has forged important new partnerships with such prestigious groups as Timex and JuicePlus+®, with more exciting developments with other partners still to come. Next year should be even more eventful than this year… but I digress. 2009 is going to be great, but let’s look at what YOU did with TrainingPeaks in 2008:
- Recorded over 5.5 million new workouts (over 25 million total!)
- Uploaded almost 700,000 workout files from over 70 compatible devices
- Logged over 400,000 meals
- Loaded over 7,500 new training and nutrition plans
Needless to say, you’ve been busy, and so have we! This year TrainingPeaks attended many different conferences, from Club Industry in Chicago to the Dynastream ANT+ Alliance in Canada, making important connections with everyone from personal trainers and gym owners to device manufacturers and professional athletes. At events like the Tour de France, Ironman Hawaii, the Beijing Olympics, and the Tour of California, as well as at training camps in Mallorca and Girona, TrainingPeaks was there to help many world-class athletes achieve their dreams.
Success stories are what TrainingPeaks is all about, from first-time finishers to gold medal winners. Learn more about what the cutting-edge technology at TrainingPeaks helped people to accomplish this year by checking out the top five stories of 2008:

The new and improved online user interface of TrainingPeaks 3.0 Beta has been a very exciting development for us this year, and has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm from our members. We will continue to add more features and improved functionality throughout the coming year, and we welcome your feedback as we progress. We are also very happy with our new website, which features profiles of many of our members as well as easier to understand features and benefits and tutorial videos to help you learn how to use our products.
One final thank you!
Yes, we’re honored that thousands of athletes world-wide trust us with their precious training data.
