Training Peaks becomes the Official Software Supplier of Cycling Center

Boulder, Colorado (December, 2006) - Training Peaks, LLC, the leading provider of on-line training and analysis software for endurance athletes and coaches, has been selected as the exclusive software provider for Cycling Center. Training Peaks will be providing the Cycling Center coaching and medical–staff the ability to monitor, analyze and plan workouts easily and efficiently through a web-based platform called Training Peaks Coach Edition. The Cycling Center riders will also have an on-line system to log and share their training data with the coaching staff. In addition to Training Peaks web-based coaching tools, athletes can direct download and analyze power, heart rate and GPS files using CyclingPeaks WKO+ software. The combination of desktop and web-based software will allow the Cycling Center coaching staff the ability to easily track day-to-day fitness and modify future training in a timely and effective manner.

Cycling Center is an international cycling development and showcase effort that provides training and racing opportunities to young talented American riders and is an alternative path for (mainly) American cyclists to the ranks of the European peloton. It finds talent with a network of coaches, pros, industry professionals and several federations.
"Training Peaks is very pleased to support Cycling Center programs. Establishing a central data management system is key to developing and guiding talent. By using Training Peaks, Cycling Center can manage massive amounts of training and race data and effectively bring talent to the world-class level," said Training Peaks Business Development Director Dirk Friel.

Cycling Center general manager Bernard Moerman explains, "We are very excited about working with Training Peaks. With the development of our altitude base at the Veloport of Albuquerque (New Mexico, USA), and our headquarters in Hertsberge (Belgium) our staff is traveling a lot. With riders from several different continents we are racing in the US, Mexico, Canada and several European countries. We were looking for a web-based software platform that can make our staff and riders’ lives much easier. Training Peaks will enable us to streamline our methods of training prescription, logging and analysis anytime anywhere. The integration of WKO+ and Training Peaks makes this an extremely powerful tool that will allow us to further refine the preparation of our riders".

Training Peaks is also the Official Software Supplier of the following organizations and teams:
T-Mobile Team, USA Triathlon, USA Cycling, and British Triathlon.
The Cycling Center has it’s own American-based amateur team. For more information visit www.cyclingcenter.com
