Microsoft buys CyclingPeaks Software

As reported by USA Cycling's "SpokEmail Volume 3 Issue 8":

Hunter Allen has announced that Microsoft has agreed in principle to purchase CyclingPeaks Software for an undisclosed obscenely large amount of money. "It is tough to sell this product that I love so much, but when Bill Gates himself calls and makes an offer that has two commas in it, what would you do.” Mr. Gates reported that he saw the value of CyclingPeaksSoftware after attending a USA April 1, 2006 power based training clinic. “I think this software will be a huge revenue stream for Microsoft and we plan to include it as part of our next version of Windows. In fact, our programmers are looking to incorporate it as soon as possible. We want this on every computer sold and hope that this will get more people out on their bikes. After all, everyone does what Microsoft says.”

Mr. Gates also reported that consumers can expect the same quality of service as customers of Microsoft have received.
