Training Peaks, LLC, the leading developer of interactive software systems for endurance athletes and coaches, is seeking an experienced developer with a passion for shaping cutting edge web technology to meet the needs of our market. You will help our customers improve their life through fitness and technology.

We are based in Boulder, CO and the ideal candidate would be local or looking for an excuse to move to the country’s endurance hub, but we also have extensive experience in working remotely. The candidate should be hardworking, energetic, detail oriented and self motivated. This is not an entry level development position. We are looking for a developer with a minimum of 5-10 years experience. A background designing and maintaining a wide array of systems ranging from transaction processing, billing and ERP will be a huge asset. Specific skills ranging from GPS to medical processing and a familiarity with modern web service API’s like Google and Pay Pal would also be a bonus. If you are a cyclist, runner or triathlete, then this could be the ideal position for you.

Training Peaks runs primarily on Microsoft technologies. Applicants need to be fluent in traditional ASP, .NET (primarily C#) and MS SQL. We’re looking for someone who can traverse the whole stack. You need to be able to tune and architect a database and also demonstrate a knack for HTML layout and design. JavaScript and especially AJAX techniques need to be part of your arsenal. A degree in CS would be an asset, but not a requirement if you can demonstrate that you’ve got the skills.

You will be working directly with the company founders and senior management to extend our world leading platform to continue to blaze the trail for computer assisted training.
