TrainingPeaks Supports USA Cycling National Development Team

2008 USAC Development Team Camp

Salt Lake City, UT

January 16-19: The TOSH Institute in Salt Lake City hosted the USA Cycling Development Team Camp last week where the young men and women spent four days conducting physiological tests, bike fits, team building exercises, nutrition classes, sport psychology, and of course a bit of a cycling and strength building.

Each day was filled with endless back to back sessions of classes lead by leading experts such as Eric Heiden, Max Testa, Jim Miller, Noel Dejonckheere and others. Dirk Friel also attended the camp for TrainingPeaks and worked with each athlete individually to train them on how to download and analyze their SRM power meter data. The riders were also shown how to synchronize their training and race files to their online TrainingPeaks accounts for easy accessibility by national team coaches.
