TrainingPeaks attends Club Industry 2008 in Chicago

imageLast week in Chicago, Peaksware's CEO Donavon Guyot and several other members of the TrainingPeaks team were in Chicago to participate in the 2008 Club Industry Convention. Originally created for the endurance sports world of cyclists, runners and triathletes, TrainingPeaks online training and nutrition log also works well for fitness clubs and personal trainers, allowing them to expand their business and improve client services. Many businesses attending the conference were impressed by the possibilities offered by TrainingPeaks software, and current TrainingPeaks clients in attendance were also impressed by the new 3.0 version of the software, which is much more user friendly and offers enhanced data analysis.

Not only is TrainingPeaks 3.0 online training and nutrition log a powerful and easy-to-use tool for both athletes and coaches, but it also offers both of these users a financially attractive solution. For athletes who might not otherwise be able to afford to meet with a personal coach or trainer every day, TrainingPeaks provides them with an alternative, allowing them to have virtual contact with their coach online every day and still get some face-to-face feedback on a regular basis. For coaches and trainers struggling to provide all of their clients with the personal attention that they need to achieve their goals, the increased efficiency of managing clients through TrainingPeaks allows them to not only fully satisfy their existing client base, but also to expand their business to a new level, increasing client volume, satisfaction and retention.

Compatible with nearly 70 different devices, including those manufactured by Garmin, Polar, Suunto and Timex, TrainingPeaks provides a democratic software platform that allows users to analyze workout data from many different sources. TrainingPeaks is truly a great solution for athletes and trainers, turning devices from expensive toys into powerful tools and taking the guesswork out of coaching and training.

TrainingPeaks also offers enterprise solutions for large organizations hoping to manage large numbers of clients or create corporate wellness solutions for their employees. By allowing the organization to create a login on their own website and redesigning the TrainingPeaks software to have the organization's look and feel, including the company's header, logo and colors, TrainingPeaks provides companies with a customized solution for their clients, maintaining brand and corporate loyalty. Look for an exciting new enterprise partnership debuting next week just before the New York City marathon!
