Now on TrainingPeaks 3.0 Beta: a bunch of cool new stuff!

meanmaxcurve Many exciting new features have just been released on the new 3.0 Beta version of TrainingPeaks, including the ability to view workout details in the calendar, save meal templates, analyze power data in detail, and the auto-saving of Calendar and Library settings. If you haven't already checked out the new software, now is a great time to do it! Increase efficiency when tracking your nutrition by dragging and dropping complete meals into your calendar, rather than building them out every time. View more detailed power analysis pods for your workouts in the Journal and Dashboard, and automatically save settings in the Calendar and Control Panel! Finally, back by popular request, you can now view all the details of your workouts not only in the Spreadsheet, but also in the Calendar! These features and many more exciting new details are available now in TrainingPeaks 3.0 Beta, the sexiest new version of the world's most advanced online training and nutrition log. Read more at our Support Center and start exploring today!

Nutrition: Tracking your nutrition has never been easier. After building a meal once by simply dragging and dropping foods from the Nutrition Library into your Calendar, you can save the meal as a template and easily add it to your Calendar every time you enjoy one of your favorite meals! Also new is the ability to quickly add foods to your list of favorite foods just by clicking on the yellow star icon to the left of the food. Finally, the Daily Calories Pod and the Calorie Balance Pod in the Dashboard have both been improved to allow you to better track your overall nutritional progress.

Power: We have added several new Pods that our power-meter users will really appreciate, including a Mean Max Power curve that plots your Critical Power values for a wide range of time periods, allowing you to compare different ranges to your best power over history. This gives you a definitive way of seeing your training progress and comparing your current power outputs to your overall best power. This pod is available in both the Journal, where you can see your power curve for a particular workout compared to previous bests, and in the Dashboard, allowing you to compare one date range’s bests to another date range’s best powers. In addition to these Mean Max Power Pods, we have also added a Power Distribution Pod, Critical Power Distribution Pod, and Power by Zones Pod. Finally, the Laps and Splits Pod has also been improved.

Customization: The settings that you choose in both your Calendar and in the Libraries on the left will now automatically save, allowing you to instantly see just what you want to see every time you login to your account. You can choose how many weeks are displayed on the Calendar and which details are displayed for each workout and meal, such as distance and duration of the workout and the caloric value of the meal. In the Control Panel, any searching and filtering preferences will also automatically save, allowing you to search only the relevant database and search categories.

Calendar: By popular request, the ability to view details of each workout in the Calendar is now available in TrainingPeaks 3.0 Beta! Not only can you view an expanded description of your workout right on the Calendar, but you can also choose to view additional details of the workout such as duration, distance, and planned start time. The settings that you choose will automatically save for the next time that you login.
