TrainingPeaks.com Now Compatible with Garmin 605 & 705

Garmin 705Garmin recently began shipping the Edge 605 and 705 GPS bicycle computers. These new devices provide on-board maps, color screens and are compatible with SRM and Quarq power meters. They also support a new wireless protocol called ANT+Sport, enabling the main computer to receive data from cadence sensors, speed sensors and even wirelessly download to a PC for post-workout analysis using our interactive File Viewer.

We are proud to announce that TrainingPeaks.com is fully compatible with the .tcx files that these units produce. No longer is a special download protocol needed, you simply plug in the 705 via USB and drag the file to your computer, where you can then select it and upload it via our Daily Log.  TrainingPeaks.com is also compatible with the Edge 205 and 305 series.

TrainingPeaks has been working with several manufacturers that have adopted ANT+Sport, and we'll be enabling data analysis within our software products to improve the value of these devices through seamless integration. We are committed to remaining compatible with multiple devices from multiple manufacturers so that our users have a single place for all their data collection needs.
