New Build of Device Agent Now Compatible with ANT+ Sport Powertap Hubs

image Powertap recently released a new firmware update to enable their wireless power meters to read the ANT+ Sport transmission frequency, the new standard in low power wireless data transmission technology. This new firmware changed how Powertap devices download, making it necessary for TrainingPeaks Device Agent to update with a new build that is compatible with this new Powertap downloading protocol. Just like the recent WKO+ update, Device Agent has now been upgraded to reflect the latest development in training device technology. Install the latest build of Device Agent now to update your TrainingPeaks account and make sure you stay up-to-date with the newest improvements in sports software. This new build of Device Agent is available to download and install for free.

You can also get the new Powertap Updater to convert your current wireless Powertap hub to be compatible with the ANT+ Sport transmission frequency, or buy a new ANT+ Sport compatible Powertab as a new year's surprise for your favorite athlete. Happy training!
