TrainingPeaks attends USAT Race Director Symposium in Colorado Springs

image This weekend, TrainingPeaks presented customized event training plans at the USAT Race Director Symposium in Colorado Springs. Any event, from local sprint triathlons to an Ironman-distance event, can feature customized training plans on the event web site, available for race participants to help them better prepare for the race and improve the overall experience of the competition. Race directors can also offer an unlimited number of free custom-branded TrainingPeaks accounts to race participants who simply want a tracking tool to monitor their progress towards race day.

Karen Smyers, the only person ever to have won the ITU Triathlon World Championships and the prestigious Hawaii Ironman in the same year (1995), was the keynote speaker at the symposium, addressing a packed room about her many challenges and triumphs in the triathlon world. After battling with a severed hamstring, a collision with a semi truck, and a struggle with thyroid cancer, Karen is still racing, and sharing her passion for triathlon through coaching.

Learn more about how you can utilize TrainingPeaks customized event training plans - make your race the most successful event it can be for all of your participants, growing the popularity of your race for many years to come.
