TrainingPeaks.com Updates: Annual Training Plan, Day View, Quick Routes, and More

Updates on TrainingPeaks are now available, including the all new Annual Training Plan (ATP) wizard, a comprehensive Day View, a more complete QuickView for both workouts and meals, and more.

Fully revamped and easier to use than ever before, with a graph view and draggable columns to change weekly planned time, the new Annual Training Plan (ATP) can be found under the Templates drop-down menu in the Training section on the left of your account. Use the ATP wizard to help you design a periodized training plan for the entire year, based on your goals, strengths, and race schedule. Coaches can use their own period naming convention to customize the ATP for their clients.

The all-new Day View is now your "all in one place" for recording or viewing workouts/meals. See everything in one place including:

  • Daily Metrics

  • Weekly Goals

  • Workouts, with expanded set/rep/interval view

  • Nutrition

  • Daily Chart

  • Routes

The new QuickView for both workouts and meals is now more complete, allowing you to drag routes and meals directly onto it to record and plan your training and nutrition quickly and easily. Structured workouts have also been improved, and a revamped calculation engine for uploaded files makes both elevation and average speed more accurate. Finally, you can customize your default view upon logging in to see the Dashboard, Spreadsheet, or Calendar, which can be further customized to display month, week, or day view.
