Tour of California Stage 1 Race File and Velonews Article

Team Saxo Bank's Gustav Larsson had a rough day like everyone else (racers and spectators) during Stage One of the Tour of California due to terribly cold and wet weather all day. To make matters worse, Gustav flatted just as a large group broke away from the main peloton... Read Dirk Friel and Hunter Allen's article analyzing the race and Gustav's performance on Velonews.com.

Get a feel for what Gustav's race felt like to him by viewing his SRM power meter race file in TrainingPeaks' File Viewer (pictured). The all-new File Viewer has a lot of great new features, but some may be a little hard to find so take a minute and visit TrainingPeaks Support to read about all the new features.

Additionally, if you'd like to download Gustav's power file and analyze it yourself in WKO+, download the original file here. Please note that Gustav’s SRM zero-offset may need to be calibrated since his watts never go to absolute zero when he is coasting. We hope to have this taken care of for tomorrow’s stage.
