Stage 20’s epic stage was dreamed up by the Tour de France race director Christian Prudhomme. He wanted the ultimate showdown between the top general classification riders the day before the race ended on the streets of Paris. Chris Anker road yet again as a perfect teammate for the Schleck brothers on the famous Mont Ventoux. For more on stage 20 click here for the full report and SRM data.

The final stage of the Tour de France played out as expected. The final laps in Paris on the Champs-Elysees proved to be the ultimate playground for Team Columbia’s British ace sprinter Mark Cavendish. Team Saxo Bank rode into Paris with their man Andy Schleck sitting safely in second place in the general classification, 4:11 behind race winner Alberto Contador.
