Garmin Forerunner and Edge 305/205 Now Directly Compatible with Device Agent 3.0
The latest update to Device Agent 3.0 is now available, allowing direct compatibility with the Garmin Edge and Forerunner 305 and 205.
Upload your workout data directly to TrainingPeaks.com or WKO+ 3.0 without the need to download first to Garmin Training Center. Download the latest version of Device Agent 3.0 now.
The update to Device Agent also improves compatibility with Garmin Smart Recording so that the recorded data is as accurate as possible.
Along with these Garmin devices, the Device Agent 3.0 includes direct compatibility with a growing list of devices, including:

- Garmin Edge 205/305
- Garmin Edge 500

This couldn't come at a better time. I was about to toss my 310xt against the wall in frustration. This news may alleviate some of that.
Could not agree more Peter. We will persist on being on the somewhat cutting edge but direct support removes many frustrations.
Your announcement states the Device Agent 3.0 is now directly compatible Garmin Edge 305/205. After installing and activating the drop down selection menu for the Device configuration I cannot find the Garmin Edge 305/205 selection item.
I am having the same problem as Tom A ... cannot find the Garmin Forerunner 305 selection in the drop down menu. Once this starts working it will be great to just import directly to WKO+ like I do with my PowerTap. Can't wait!!
Just to follow up on being unable to find the Garmin Forerunner 305 selection in the drop down menu ... all I had to do is uninstall the previous version of Device Agent and then install the newest build, rather than just installing the new one "on top of" the old one. Everything works great now! Thanks TrainingPeaks!
I had to do the same as Justin.
Uninstall Device Agent 3.0 Build 24, then install Device Agent 3.0 Build 25.
I can't seem to get this done. Is there any more tutorials on this?
