April New Features Demonstration: Planned PMC and TSS

Our April redesign of TrainingPeaks unveiled some exciting new features, including big changes to our QuickView, and the ability to plan TSS for workouts and thus model out your future Performance Management Chart. In this video, our co-founder Dirk Friel demonstrates how you can use these features to better plan your fatigue, form, and fitness for peak performance on race day.

Don't know what TSS is? Learn about Training Stress Score (TSS)TM and our Performance Management Chart, and how these our scientific metrics and tools will help you hone your fitness for your upcoming events.

The Performance Management Chart is a Premium feature of TrainingPeaks Athlete Edition Web software. Learn more about our online training log and sign up for an account here.

Planned TSS is a great idea. You guys should highlight which training plans (if any) actually utilize this feature. Most of the plans revolve around planned time. I assume that some will be based on planned TSS in the future (please)?

Those are our thoughts exactly, however keep in mind we don't produce any plans. I can't wait to see which coach on our system will be the first to produce a Training Plan that incorporates future TSS values:) Hint, hint. If you are a coach I smell opportunity.....Dirk

Planning TSS would be much more useful, if there would be tools for planning a workout that will produce planned TSS. Let's say I plan a running workout of 150 TSS. How long and how fast should I run to achieve 150 TSS?
