The New Science of WKO 4, Part 1: A Primer on Modeling

Dr. Andy Coggan first provides this primer on how to evaluate mathematical models introduces and supports the new power-duration model, which is the basis of WKO 4.

The first installment of our free, 4-part webinar series on the new science behind WKO 4 ran on Tuesday evening. To introduce and support the new power-duration model, which is the basis of WKO 4, Dr. Andy Coggan first provided this primer on how to evaluate mathematical models.

He went over how models can be useful, what their limitations are, and provided some real-world examples. In part 2 of the series next Tuesday Nov. 12, Andy will compare current power models including the critical power paradigm to go over their strengths — and weaknesses.
