Feature of the Month: Data Editing
Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 4:30PM Have you ever had any of the following issues with your training data:
- Forget to turn your GPS watch off and hop in the car after a run or ride?
- Have a channel (speed, HR, power, or cadence) be corrupted or dropped by your device (or even picked up another athlete's device by accident)?
- Gotten spikes in power, HR or speed that distort your max or average values?
You can fix any of these issues and more with TrainingPeaks data editing, a Premium feature released last year that allows you to delete segments, fix bad data points, and delete channels. Watch our video demo below, then get a free 7-day trial of Premium to try it yourself.

Where is the copy and past button ?!
Is there an option for bloc editing of several data points at once? At times--such as riding down a hill or during warmup--my HR monitor will read in error for several minutes.
Tom,
If you need to delete only one data channel for a specific time period, you'll need to use the Data View and do your edits line-by-line. Hopefully "bulk select" will be a future feature, but it unfortunately is not an option as of now. From the Graph view you can select areas to cut, but in this scenario you will be cutting all the data channels out. We can assist you directly via a support ticket here.
