What are Channels in Device Agent and why should I care about them?

The channels refer to the following:
P - Power
H - Heart Rate
C - Cadence
S - Speed
A - Altitude
D - Distance
G - GPS
T - Time
There maybe times in which you may not be aware that a sensor has failed or that you're not getting all of the data expected until something is missing on your graph.  Verifying your channels in Device Agent before you save a file will allow you to be more aware of missing data streams and can rectify that situation sooner (ie. check the battery in your powermeter, heart rate strap, etc).

How to manage your login in Device Agent

To edit your login credentials in Device Agent go to File > Edit Login Accounts.

On a Mac this file menu will be at the very top of the screen when Device Agent is open but on a PC it'll be at the top of the Device Agent window.

If you've accidentally typoed your user ID in Device Agent, you'll need to make a new entry before Device Agent will let you delete the incorrect one.  Simply click the + in the Manage User Accounts window and add a new user ID and password.

Once you've entered the new username and password you can delete the old one by selecting it from the list and clicking the - button.

If you've changed your password in TrainingPeaks.com you'll need to edit it in Device Agent too.  Go to the Manage User Accounts screen as described above and double-click your username to edit the password.
