How do I transfer my WKO+ data from one computer to another?

New computer? Time to get your WKO+ fired up, but you'll need your WKO+ data from your original computer.
Here's how:
First, install and activate WKO+ on your new computer.
Next, copy the Data folder from Libraries : Documents : TrainingPeaks : WKO+ to a removeable storage device such as a "thumb drive" or USB stick.
Next, with WKO+ not running, copy that data folder on the USB stick to the same location on the new computer.  Several dialog boxes will ask if you want to merge.  Say yes to all of them.
When it asks about files with the same name, check the box at the bottom (circled in red) and click Copy and Replace.
When it asks if you to confirm folder replace, check the box at the bottom and select Yes.
Now start up WKO+ and all of your data should be replicated as it was on the old machine.

How to correct the elevation profile in WKO+

On some rides, especially when using a training device that uses a barometric altimeter when the barometric pressure is changing, you'll have erroneous elevation data in WKO+.  You can now also do this in TrainingPeaks.com!

1. Load your ride into WKO+ and go to the Graph View.

2. Be sure the entire ride is selected.

3. Go to the edit menu and select Corrections > Fix Elevation Profile using GPS

4. A window will pop up with your elevation profile and the option to use USGS or Ground Control. Ground Control contains the USGS database.

5. Click Begin and WKO+ will contact the server and adjust the elevation for each data point in the ride.

6.  If you believe the correction is better than the original, click Apply.
